You can try and perform slow turns or hide in clouds but really the best solution is just to lube up and bite down on the pillow.

Honestly your team in fighters should split off to cover you if you're underfire, thats what i usually do when i'm in my f16

Don't play warfare. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Some planes are incredible powerful and unless you don't use them, forget about winning.

It is pretty fair - in reality flying an A-10 without complete air superiority is gonna get you shot down right away for sure.

You run if someone is chasing you. Always open up the map fully and get ready to hide in the clouds while you run to your teammates. If you want to tough it out be prepared to eat LAAMs.

If I play with air to ground missiles in a multirole, I just focus on getting that ace status and then bombing to rack up the points. The majority of the time the other team ignores you because they're too busy fighting your team, if you're lucky. If not, I spend the rest of the match in a turn battle and hopefully in a PSM capable multirole.
