Use specific planes with specific weapons to win.

Otherwise, stay out of combat with enemy players using said planes if you don't choose them and just score NPC kills. That can rack up your points tremendously and with luck, you carry the team.

Last warfare i scored 88k points just doing that. Lost by 500 points cause my teammates decided to be fodder for the enemy team using specific air to air planes and missiles.

Even with Morgans around, it was easier before since most people only had lower tier aircrafts.
Now that everyone has leveled up, you just get swarmed by QAAMs and LAAMs and I struggled to get those 3 wins as well.
They really need to put different matchmaking queues with different max costs, it's honestly ridiculous that this was better handled in AC7 MP

You get a point multiplier for being a three star threat level, this triggers at around 12k base points without dying, after that go for NPC targets and rack up the points.

It's actually more beneficial to not engage in PVP because the points per minute is way lower since it's harder to kill good players vs 10 NPCs.

Good strategy is one fighter with LAAMs racking up NPC air kills, one attacker racking up NPC grounds, and two players escorting and drawing away PVP players.

This is impossible given you get matched with completely random players

I got lucky and matched with some capable teams. I wish I could offer more than "keep trying, you'll get it" :-(

like other comments, the biggest problem is the lack of balancing. I don't have a single plane at max level with all of the level cap increases and I'm going against people who do. its insane. the multiplayer here is just a train wreck. its killing my desire to want to even try

Well, at the very least you have until the end of the season for this challenge. Probability you'll just end up matching with good players. From the datamine, this is the only "Win x sorties" for the rest of the season so no rush.

It's only bad because project aces put zero effort into matchmaking or balancing anything in any way. They literally put no effort into it at all. The whole online mode is frankly super disappointing and frustrating especially compared to Infinity.

When in doubt, you can assist your allies with an EW plane, otherwise pick an attacker or fighter, and lean hard into that role. Having a competent teammate helps if they stick to supressing the enemy players soo, it's just knowing what role you are good at, and what the team needs at that moment.
