Better than people like me getting MVP in a quarter of the matches and the average player getting like 33 XP because they could barely net a kill before they hit another respawn cooldown and a slow flight back to the furball.

But yeah, it is kind of grindy.

i feel like we need difficulty level modifiers with more xp per diff and wins in scrambles give xp based off number of fighters killed

Emergency Sorties should give like a flat 500 or something on win

Rather than punishing those who cannot win by making late game planes take longer to get to, and benefitting good players with faster grinds to late game planes, they decided to make one of the 3 useful "currencies" based on just playing. You still won't be able to level up your plane quickly or purchase new parts or planes or upgrades if you don't preform well, as you won't gain as much combat xp or zoll, but you sure as hell will be able to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Ace Combat Online doesn't appear to be made in a system where the best have fun and the rest suffer, like in War Thunder, but rather attempts to provide a multiplayer where both the good and the bad players can enjoy it. While it is always more fun to win, balancing some of the rewards to be less winning focused helps a lot with people's grinds and enjoyment.

Have you seen the balance online? I sometimes see newbies in their stock F4s going up against Su-57s and being killed over and over in co-op warfare. They got shot so fast it isnt funny anymore.

Yes I have witnessed it first hand, it's not exactly fair matchmaking, but if they're tired of dying go play assault
