VR is the ultimate way to play Ace Combat 8
VR is the ultimate way to play ace combat games, its literally like flying a real plane minus the danger, its 1000 times more immersive than playing on a monitor, people need to get with the times and upgrade to VR.

Factually wrong, VR is the future, monitor is ancient tech.

Kono: In the case of VR, as I mentioned in G-Star, it was very successful in the previous work, but at the same time, several problems appeared and a decision was needed. As you know, VR requires graphics to be depicted on both the left and right sides, and there is a difficult condition that the frame rate must be maintained. In other words, twice the original throughput is required. There's something I learned while developing VR in the previous game, and I felt like I was making a completely different game because the narrative and level design had to be redesigned for VR as well. What we faced during development was the decision to create the best Ace Combat in VR, the best Ace Combat on a flat monitor, or both at the same time. The decision made this time was to create an Ace Combat that fans around the world would be happy about by creating a numbering title on a flat monitor. This work itself is a title with such a large volume that it is impossible to make two games at the same time, so as it will be revealed more and more in the future, we decided to focus on this one Ace Combat.

VR is needlessly demanding CONFIRMED BY THE OFFICIAL, and they are going to focus on non-VR experience for the numbering titiles
I SEE THIS AS AN ABSOLUTE WIN

Absolute win for people with low end pcs yes but an absolute LOSS if we want the best most immersive game possible because if the hardware specs werent considered and pushed to max the VR game would be about 1000 times better than on monitor. Maybe when the standard of pcs are better in the future they will be able to make AC9 fully in VR. Regardless AC8 will be playable in VR anyways with the UEVR mod.
Nope, no, I don't need VR.

No one who has tried AC in VR would say that, you have no idea what you are missing. Thats like saying "nope i dont want to fly a real airplane, i want to watch it on an ancient monitor tech"

Maybe people dont want to waste a few hundred dollars extra? if follow your logic all the tech we use today are ancient also your beloved VR first appeared in 1968 with many other tech so your VR is ancient too

This individual seems to be getting extremely frothy over vr for some reason.
Either simply trolling or has some more deep seated issues involving technology.
..might be best to let this individual rest for a while and limit your interactions.
