In the Halloween patch a bug was introduced that made the timer in No Time To Dilly Dally reset between each island. This was unintended behavior and has now been fixed.

Unfortunatly, due to us catching this to late, the leaderboard for this challenge contained some pretty high scores that was hard to know if they where done with this bug or not. We therefore also made the decision to clear the leaderboard for this challenge.

We apologize to all players with legit scores on the leaderboard, but we believe that long term this was the best decision.

Hope you understand,

/The Islanders team

Where are the monthly challenges?
We wanted to share a quick and honest update about post-launch content - especially Challenge Mode.

As you may have seen, there have been some changes behind the scenes in the wider organisation, which have made things a bit trickier when it comes to planning out content updates. Team structures have shifted a little, and that’s had a knock-on effect on how quickly we can get things out the door.

That said, We are still here, still excited, and still fully committed to supporting ISLANDERS: New Shores long-term. We’re doing our best to navigate the changes in a way that keeps the game and the community moving forward.

Our hope is to roll out the first version of challenge mode in the next free content update, but we want to take this moment to ask: what kind of challenge experience do you actually want? High-score hunts? Creative goals? We’re all ears.

Drop your thoughts in the comments - we’re reading everything, and your input will help us shape what is next.

Thank you so much for sticking with us!

- ISLANDERS team, and Coatsink 🏝️
