not all, there is a server, which we will not name, that actively hide their bot counts to trick players into thinking their server is active with human players. if you read this discussion board, it shouldn't be that hard to find out who is being honest and who is lying.

they actually do this on day of defeat source as well

Most real servers don't obscure their bots, its fastpath that has an "AFK autopilot" by their own admission that turn idle players into their bots bypassing the bot count.
They also did host fake servers that would trick you into joining their ones.

They have been actively reporting people for slander and misinformation which is why others here in the thread are more careful mentioning them. For me its a bit different, I haven't gotten banned since I stay polite and back everything up I say.

(In the screenshot you see multiple fake Bouncyball's running a deathmatch map, which a real co-op server would obviously never do).

Because to them that is what it is, a feature. To the rest of us its their way to make sure their server spam makes it to the top of the list without properly disclosing you are fighting bots.

As for servers you can play it would depend on where you are.
My own co-op server doesn't have any human like bots, but you fight alongside real players versus NPC's so that has to be your thing.

In the US socal is a great community, lot of people using mic there, no bots at all.

The other european servers should be disclosing bots properly so I expect you to be able to tell from the ingame server browser if they have bots or not.

1 - Redirect servers claiming to be other known servers,
2 - Stealing established server names to scam other players into joining your servers
3 - claiming to be bot free when clearly you are not
4 - Using players that are AFK to boost server stats
5 - Using Admin cheats when actual players join, that is certainly NOT Pro.


As stated previously not jealous nor frustrated, explain to me why you consider me to be either... if you can without using standard FP replies.

1. - This is a feature to encourage new players.
2. - Never done on Fastpath.
3. - Bots add to the gameplay, better with biots than empty!
4. - Autopilot is a one of the best feature.
5. - Cheating or using hacking is not allowed.

1. That is not a feature that is scamming players into thinking they are on another server
2. Yes done on FastPAth, you stole my server name on a redirect and others as has been shown here several times
3. BUT your stats openly falsify figures claiming to be players as has been proven here before, just name your bots as bots...simple.
4. Autopilot - laughable to say the least, using AFK players to falsify stats again.
5. Well you better have a word with your other admin friend as he has stated it to be true,

I'd like to remind everyone that unless a server explicitly does trickery to hide it from you the bots show as bots on the scoreboard. The game has a built in feature where things without a ping show as a bot ingame. If this is not happening but there are bots active the server is intentionally deceiving you.

I mean that's what I am talking about, not a single bot on the server yet no one talks in the chat and they act weird in the way they walk and shoot.
