compiling shaders

every time i boot the game it loads but then takes literally hours to get past the compiling shaders screen

Hey there. What is your driver version? Please try the following in the meantime:

• Verify or Repair Game Files:
• If on Steam: Right-click skate. in your library, go to Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.
• If on the EA App: Go to your library, click the three dots on skate., and select Repair.
• Delete the Local Shader Cache / Settings Folder:
• Go to your AppData\Local directory (press Windows + R, type %localappdata%, and hit Enter).
• Find the folder associated with skate. or its settings/cache subfolders and delete them so the game can rebuild a fresh, uncorrupted cache.
• Clean-Install Graphics Drivers:
• Outdated or corrupted GPU drivers can cause shader compilation to take too long.
