Same thing happened to me only I was doing a trick. Can't load into the game anymore.

Hey everyone. This is now under investigation.

You can try and see if this works for you in the meantime:

- While the game is loading, click and hold the Steam window (or any other window) to keep it as the active window.

- Maintain the Steam window as active until the white skate logo screen appears

If this information is helpful, as far as I could tell the character was probably sent somewhere that even returning to marker couldn't retrieve my character. It sounded like I was falling before I shut the game down the first time.

So yeah, some dude on the EA forums was able to solve it, at least on his particular case (and also mine!!!) I'll quote him:

I had the same issue on PC, I launched the EA anticheat exe in the game folder and it started working for me

Launching EA Anticheat worked for me!

It worked for me as well
