Does This Game Have Real Controller Support Now?

I use to play the original years ago, I had a lot of fun with it, but I didn't like using my keyboard, and mapping my keyboard controls to my PC controller felt too clunky for me. I remember trying this game and being shocked they still didn't have real controller support. Is that still the case or can I connect my, PS4, XBOX, controller and start playing?

Once you finish setting everything, confirm by pressing OK to save your configuration.

Please note that the controller works only during matches, while menu navigation still requires a mouse and keyboard.
