How accurate is this game to history?
Wondering if I should get it, I don't want this to be another COD WWII, COD Vanguard or BFV

It seems the developers did their homework.

In the pre-mission screen you can see the names of the squadrons: Panda Bears and Hell's Angels, those are the actual names of two of the squadrons of the First American Volunteer Group (AVG)

In one mission you play as KK Majundar who was a real indian pilot and you play a mission that he did in real life.

In another mission you fight against Tateo Kato, a real ace from the japanese army.

In another mission you fight on the Battle of Salween River , a real encounter within the Battle of the Yunnan–Burma Road
