Hey everyone!

Our next major update is here, and this is one of the biggest expansions we've made to Between Adventures Idle so far.

This update significantly expands the game's progression and mid-to-late game experience. The world has grown from 5 Acts to 10 Acts with 146 combat zones, Combat now has its own dedicated Combat Level progression, and every Act now ends with its own dedicated Boss encounter.

We're also introducing the new Boss Chambers, bringing repeatable and progressively harder boss fights with high-rarity rewards, alongside the new Adventure Board & Skill Milestones system that tracks your overall progression and rewards you with permanent bonuses as your skills grow.

Combat itself has received a major expansion with new enemy traits, modifier tags, elemental damage and resistances, while Enchanting has been greatly expanded with +9 equipment upgrades, Power Stones, Catalyst Stones, additional suffix customization, and item extraction.

Beyond these larger systems, this update also expands the Skill Tree, improves Rarity Fusion, adds new Cooking and Alchemy content, introduces new Merchant upgrades, and includes another round of UI, localization, balance, and Quality of Life improvements.

There's a lot to cover in this one, so let's get into the full patch notes!

The world map and combat progression have been massively expanded from 5 Acts to 10 full Acts spanning 146 combat zones and a dedicated combat leveling curve.

• Dedicated Combat Level (Levels 1–70):

  • Combat now tracks its own Combat Level and Combat XP independently from your overall Account Level.

  • Combat equipment (Weapons, Armor, Shields, and Accessories) now uses your Combat Level as its equip requirement.

• 10 Acts & 146 Combat Zones:

  • Act 1 : 10 Zones | Combat Lv 1–5 | 3–28 Gold & 99 Combat XP per kill

  • Act 2 : 15 Zones | Combat Lv 5–10 | 28–50 Gold & 361 Combat XP per kill

  • Act 3 : 15 Zones | Combat Lv 10–15 | 55–85 Gold & 718 Combat XP per kill

  • Act 4 : 15 Zones | Combat Lv 15–20 | 90–120 Gold & 1,071 Combat XP per kill

  • Act 5 : 16 Zones | Combat Lv 20–25 | 125–155 Gold & 1,138 Combat XP per kill

  • Act 6 : 15 Zones | Combat Lv 25–30 | 155–164 Gold & 1,374 Combat XP per kill

  • Act 7 : 15 Zones | Combat Lv 30–40 | 164–173 Gold & 3,405 Combat XP per kill

  • Act 10: 15 Zones | Combat Lv 60–70 | 191–200 Gold & 7,368 Combat XP per kill

• Dedicated Act Finale Boss Zones:

  • The final zone of every Act is now a dedicated Boss Encounter that unlocks once you reach that Act's target Combat Level.

  • Clearing an Act's final Boss Zone completes the Act and permanently seals that story encounter, moving repeatable boss farming to the new Boss Chambers.

• Anti-Overleveling XP Pacing:

  • Once your Combat Level reaches the next Act's entry requirement, enemies in the completed lower Act award 1 base Combat XP per kill, encouraging forward progression into higher Acts.

• Auto-Retry on Defeat:

  • Falling in battle within an Act zone now automatically restarts combat in your current zone rather than returning you to the selection menu.

• Act Overview Yield & Rarity Breakdown:

  • Selecting any Act now displays its full Gold range, Combat XP per kill, and exact drop chance percentages across all 11 item rarities (from Common up to Eternal).

A brand-new Boss Chambers tab has been added to the Combat Menu, featuring 14 repeatable high-stakes Boss Encounters.

• 10 Act Boss Chambers & 4 Skill Mastery Boss Chambers:

  • Chambers 1–10: Unlock progressively at Combat Levels 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31, 41, 51, 61, and 65.

  • Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing & Gathering Mastery Bosses: Unlock by reaching Level 99 in the respective gathering skill.

• Progressive Boss Level Scaling:

  • Every victory in a Boss Chamber permanently increases that boss's level for subsequent fights.

  • As a boss levels up, its Health, Damage, Armor, Accuracy, and Evasion dynamically scale higher.

  • Defeating a boss at its maximum level marks the chamber as Completed while remaining open for repeatable endgame farming.

• Guaranteed Multi-Roll High-Rarity Loot:

  • Act Boss Chambers have a 0% "No Loot" chance and reward 3 to 5 guaranteed equipment drops per kill plus 125 to 1,250 Gold.

  • Boss Chamber loot rolls drop exclusively Superior to Eternal gear:

    • Superior: 6% | Epic: 10% | Legendary: 35% | Mythic: 45% | Ancient: 2% | Divine: 1.5% | Eternal: 0.5%

Track your account's grand journey across all 12 Skills (Combat, Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Gathering, Arcane School, Crafting, Blacksmith, Alchemy, Cooking, Enchantment, and Upgrade) up to Level 99.

• Overall Game Completion Tracker:

  • The Adventure Board calculates and displays your real-time Total Completion % across all 12 skills and your Account Level.

• Automatic Passive Stat Bonuses & Unlocks:

  • Reaching milestone levels in any skill automatically grants permanent passive character and skill bonuses:

    • Combat Milestones: Grants cumulative passive bonuses totaling +20% Max Health, +7% Armor, +10% Melee Damage, +8% Magic Damage, and +8% Ranged Damage by Level 99, alongside unlocking Acts 1–10, Boss Chambers 1–10, and the Combat Master Cape.

    • Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing & Gathering Milestones: Unlocks resource tiers at Levels 1, 10, 18, 28, 40, 55, 70, and 85, while granting +15% Total Skill Speed, +20% Total Skill XP Gain, +10% Mastery Gain, +3% Rare Material Drop Chance, +50% Bonus Resource Yield (Lv 90), and unlocking the Skill Mastery Boss Chamber at Level 99.

  • Vampiric: Heals itself for 20% of the net damage it deals to you on hit.

  • Poisonous: Each hit has a 35% chance to inflict a 5-turn Poison status effect.

• Elemental Damage & Percentage Resistances:

  • Enemies in Acts 3–10 and Boss Chambers deal themed Elemental Damage (Fire, Cold, Lightning, Poison) alongside their attacks. Elemental damage bypasses physical Armor, scales with critical hits, and is mitigated by your Elemental Resistances.

  • Physical Resistances (Melee, Ranged, Magic) now support full percentage values from 100% (Weakness / Double Damage) to +100% (Complete Immunity).

• Redesigned Enemy Combat Stats & Interactive Badges UI:

  • Added 19 interactive trait, tag, elemental, and resistance badges beneath the enemy banner with detailed hover tooltips.

  • Added an enemy Family & Level header (e.g., Goblin • Level 15), turn-based attack speed display, and a collapsible "More / Less" secondary stats drawer.

The Enchanting station now features a two-tab interface (Enchant and Transmute & Extract), +9 equipment upgrading, and deterministic stat crafting.

• Power Stones (+1 to +9 Equipment Enchanting):

  • Craft and use Power Stones to upgrade your equipment's Enchantment Level from +1 up to +9, progressively scaling its base stats toward (and beyond) the top of its rarity bracket.

  • Safe Early Upgrades (+1 to +4): 100% success chance with zero risk of burning.

  • High-Stakes Upgrades (+5 to +9): Success rates scale to 75% (+5), 60% (+6), 45% (+7), 30% (+8), and 15% (+9), displayed via live Success % and Burn % bars.

  • Enchanted Ash Recovery: If an unprotected +5 to +9 upgrade fails, the item burns into Enchanted Ash based on its rarity, which is used to craft Power Stones and Catalyst Stones.

• 14 Craftable Catalyst Stones:

  • Aegis Catalyst Stone: Slot alongside a Power Stone to protect your item from burning if a +5 to +9 upgrade fails. The Aegis stone is only consumed if the upgrade fails!

  • 13 Stat Catalyst Stones: Slot alongside a Recreate Suffixes or Add Suffix stone to guarantee that your newly rolled suffix matches the chosen stat:

    • Flame, Frost, Storm, and Venom Catalysts (rolls Elemental Damage on weapons, or Elemental Resistance on armor/shields).

    • Armor, Evasion, and Accuracy Catalysts.

    • Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Constitution, Wisdom, and Charisma Catalysts.

• Expansion Shard (+1 Bonus Suffix Slot):

  • Using an Expansion Shard permanently unlocks +1 additional Suffix Slot above an item's maximum rarity capacity (up to once per item).

  • Break down unwanted enchanted gear to extract 1 Essence, Orb, or Enchantment Scrap for every suffix on the item

• Reduced Fusion Requirement (9 Slots → 4 Slots): Reduced the number of items required to fuse and upgrade into the next rarity tier from 9 items down to 4 items, making rarity progression significantly faster and more accessible.

• New Animated Fusion Reward Modal: Completing a fusion now launches a celebratory full-screen reward showcase with custom audio and full item tooltip inspection.
