Nah nah they can put out all the updates they want but I would assume they have the expertise that they would not put console patches on pc breaking the game or would have the expertise to make a new anniversary edition like they had with skyrim or make a beta version on steam like witcher 3 that would offer a version before the anniversary slop update. But clearly they lack the expertise to do these simple things that they could do before which mean they are infact just slophesda
The anniversary update did not break my game at all. It improved it with some extra content that I have enjoyed. And the game is still rated overall, Very Positive. So most ( large majority ) must have liked the updates.

And you could always try to create your own software game company and it run it the way you want to.:steammocking:

I am a very successfull developer. But tell me why doesn't slophesda have the expertise to make a new version or beta version? This is clear lack of basic developer skills that other companies have. They even outsourced their oblivion remake to other studio. What does that tell you?

The success of Beth is very clear. Microsoft thought they where so successful, they purchased the company for over $7 billion.

Is your gaming software development skills been shown to be $7 billion worth successful? If so, tell me what video games you have helped develop for companies worth that much?

And why don't you ask them for the answer you seek? Have you?

What are your most comparable major video game releases to Bethesda's offerings?
I will tell you after slophesda starts making better consumer practices. So blame slophesda for lack of this information as well.

My skills are clearly so high up compared to slophesda because they seemingly can't do anything properly these days. Breaking their own games. Releasing unfinished games. Not understanding to make a big patch as a dlc. Can't even remaster their own game. What is there to say other than no skill if they were bought with 7 billion. If money is not the issue then there's only 1 explanation.
I actually like their effort on keeping the game alive, they probably have plans for future releases, tv shows and everything..

if nothing else, i appreciate playing an updated game with plans of Fo5 in the horizon.

The game was alive since 2018 with mods and proper dlc. Not because of them doing these garbage forced patches 10 years after release. They could have made the anniversary and all subsequent patches part of a dlc or a different game version. This was a console patch they forced on pc which has nothing that mods already did better since 5 years ago.

Something in the wetware, as far as I can tell. :steammocking:
I'm not approving everything they do, but I'm also aware the fact we don't know what they plan.

Only thing is visible is 'they keep it alive', not exactly in the way we want (it's actually vague what we -all- want) but they keep doing something for console and creation club, it's not nothing.. tv show is gonna continue, fo5 will comeout, remasters are on the way..

and I'm appreciate they just didn't abandon Fallout and focus on Starfield or something.. but I know they tried that too..
