dont work on steam deck. any helps?
hello. game starts ,shows all video, enter in main menu. in this step i use touchscreen to change controls to game pad. press new game, create charracter .... and i gettin stuck on loading screen. just infinite loading. game not crushing, text " loading ..." is moving.
i started in gaming and desktop mode, use d3cky powertool, set proton experemental on compatibility. nothing helps.
anyone help me please.

What worked for me was setting to proton9.0.4.
Initial load was long maybe 5ish min, but it did work.

Just tried again so my post is accurate. Took 18min. So put the kettle on. Read a guide. Down a few ales. It WILL load just switching to proton 9.0.4 although I'm not even sure if that step is necessary tbh

^The problem with this is all transition screens take probably 18min to load so I did more testing with nominal steps to fix so here's the fix;

Switch compatibility to proton hotfix. load times are less than 10 seconds. No other steps required.

Hey thanks Testing proton hotfix later! If it is fixed on the latest i guess we had such bad luck with our timing in this game

Also, default controller layout isnt working on steamdeck with controller either, you have to manually switch it to some of the other layouts
