Pumpkin Harvest, Krold and a new PvP balance

5:56am

🎃 The Pumpkin Harvest is on

Collect pumpkins on expeditions, in the Tower and in the Arena, and break the Pumpkin of the Day at Miro once a day. Every fifth day in a row brings a Golden Pumpkin. On 23 October the Scarecrow of the Pumpkin Field rises under the walls of Val'Gard: a server-wide boss everyone can strike.

🃏 Krold in the cellar under the Tavern

A card game for 3 players with three gates: Shadows (bots, no gold), Wanderers (500 and 5,000 gold tables) and High Stakes (50,000 gold, from level 70). The table queue calls you when a full table is ready.

⚔️ New PvP balance

Fights in the Arena, Hunts and the Tournament last longer, armour and class role matter more, and magic no longer ignores all armour. Until 31 October you can move your training points once for free.

✨ And more

New level-up window and a forged medallion portrait
Combat pauses when you leave the game
Specific notifications: training, Watch, Hunts, Mail
A compendium for new players in the "?" window

See you in the Tower!

Heroes' Chronicle, guild land wars and a new game intro

Sep 30

Heroes' Chronicle

A new story mode in Expeditions. Walk Lirien's road before she came to Val'Gard: six chapters of painted scenes, puzzles, its own music and fights against the Mist Hounds. Lirien fights with a bow, and every chapter ends with an entry in the Chronicle.

Guilds: land wars

A land map inside your guild and marches on enemy territory.
Defender bonus and the Watch.
The first war season starts on October 5: a banner, a title and a trophy for the best.
Guild Foe and Weekly Goals: a shared boss and four tasks for the whole guild.

Expeditions and training

Expeditions beyond the Heart: provisions, exhaustion and injuries, so plan your route.
Expeditions 1-10 now scale their difficulty to your party size.
Training keeps growing faster after 300 sessions.
Hunts: set up a defense that fights for you while you are offline.

Game entrance and Steam client 1.3.5

A new intro: the KEKA STUDIO sign with sound and the gate theme flowing into the login screen.
A new game icon: the raven skull.
Keddar's reflection now shows in the puddle at the gate.

Fixes

Smoother chat on phones, an "Attack next" button in the Gambling Den and the Novice Dungeons, a fixed pet Stable, and the Chronicle now fits the window on every PC screen.

See you in the Tower.
