yes. just get it. its a little different than wilds so you'll have a different experience. they're all fun
Monster Hunter World is the best game in the series, and it is also the best selling game in Capcom history. Definitely worth picking it up.
Yes, but expect slower pacing with heavy swing feeling here. MHR is an action game with monster hunter skin, it will feel a lot different compared to world. Also if you are planning to use keyboard and mouse, try to rebind the keys, the default is a bit awkward to use
Strictly talking about gamepad controls:

The overall button layout is the same as MHR, except for the unique gimmick of each MH (Clutch Claw in MHW vs Wirebug / Silkbind moves in MHR). Some weapons might have specific changes to some moves/combos.

However MHR feels easier to control because there is much less hitstop and you have much more mobility. You can Wirefall to recover out of almost anything instantly.

So if you feel the MHR controls are restrictive, I don't know if you'll find MHW better/easier to control.

Of course it's also a matter of learning and getting used to it, since you said you just started. I suggest playing MHR for a bit more since you already have it; try different weapons to find one that clicks with you mechanically and stylistically. Whatever you learn will carry over to MHW (and even MHGU, which is a lot stiffer).

You might want to look up a short video guide just to get an idea of a weapon's combos/flow, because it's not always obvious from the in-game Hunter's Notes and button guide.

Modern MH (especially MHW Charge Blade and Hunting Horn) has my favourite controls of any 3D action game; it's fun to learn and mechanically satisfying to execute. Just keep an open mind, don't expect it to have the same controls as other action games. Sprint and dodge are separate buttons :) :er_sweat:
MHW/IB is the best Monster Hunter right now IMO. Definitely worth it.
best game I ever had beside elden ring
It's a Capcom best seller for a very good reason
Only downhill after this entry, so I'd say it's worth it.
Keyboard and 12 button MMO mouse = freedom! :MHRISE_Felyne:
Augment equipment still best in Sunbreak, Augment equipment in iceborne, guiding land need more grinding time and search manual for material needed
