the porting was not bad
i see so many people being pissed that the porting is bad for this game, but as a previous holder of several world records for this game, and having hundreds of hours at the time, i can proudly say that i loved the way this game felt. the porting was amazing and i'll never understand what people mean by "the port was ♥♥♥♥"

I would agree if it's like 2008-2010 but times and standards have been changed. There's now widescreen monitors and XInput controllers are mostly used that outshines the 4:3 resolution and DirectInput gamepad support.

Thankfully the Style Switcher mod somehow made it adapt to new devices and still works on Windows 11.
