Simply put one of the best games period out there. Single player that is. If running windows 7 you have to do a few tricks to get it to work. Steam version installs multiple ini files and refers to all i believe. Never alt tab out of this game it will always lock up. One ini file is in your documents/games folder labeled FALLOUT
The other is in the normal steam folders labeled FalloutPrefs
YOU MUST EDIT BOTH
bUseThreadedAI=0
You must change this to:
bUseThreadedAI=1
Add a line below this labeled
iNumHWThreads=2
while in the folder with the fallout executable right click it hit properties compatibility and check all three bottom boxes that say disable run as adminstrator and set it to run xp (service pack 2)
other than that the game runs like a champ.
I ran this game over 4 hours and haven't had it crash doing all this seems to have worked the kinks out on windows 7 x64 professional.
