- Do not use mediguns other than stock on offense as a medic
- Do not equip the gunslinger on defense as engineer

- Do not stack non-power classes
- Do not be racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, ableist, fatphobic, or any other kind of phobic in voice or text chat
- Do not troll or ragebait other players (this includes baiting with uber)

- Do not tell me to swap off a class
- Do not buy more than 1 tick of Rocket Specialist
- Do not airblast the robots
- Do not spread stickies
- Do not buy knockback rage
- Do not focus tank as heavy
- Do not build off bot path as engie
- Do not build close to bot spawn on uber med waves as engie
- Do not use complete trash weapons like the huntsman or direct hit (i highly prefer no gas either)
- Do not shoot the sentry busters
- Do not hug dispensers
- Buy max dispenser range on wave 1 or get off engie

- Nintendo is a greedy company that loves to file lawsuits against potential competitors (see Pocketpair lawsuit), charity drives (see Etika charity), and their own playerbase (see Smash Tournament History). They also lied about joycon drift, and Game Freak lied to Pokemon fans like myself about the real reason why Sword/Shield did not have a national pokedex. Nintendo consoles and games are not ethical.

- Microsoft is owned by Bill Gates. Bill Gates is a pedophile who not only is on the Epstein list, but also gave his wife STDs which he got from child sexual abuse victims on Epstein's island. Neither Xbox consoles/games nor Windows OSs are ethical.

- Sony has industry-worst customer support. Digital games that have begun downloading cannot be refunded. Sony has begun phasing out physical games, which normally wouldn't be an issue if Sony didn't also have a history of deleting digital content from user's libraries (see Sony Movie Removals). Playstation consoles/games are not ethical.

- Valve runs an effective monopoly on PC gaming, similar to how Amazon has an effective monopoly on online shopping. Gabe Newell is the richest person in the gaming industry, and owns several mega yachts. Keep this in mind while remembering the lack of support TF2 got during the bot crisis as Valve focused on awful projects like Artifact, or the lack of support TF2 gets nowadays thanks to Valve's focus on Deadlock, a MOBA shooter that will probably die in a year just like Marvel Rivals did for Netease. TF2 is also relevant in Valve's greed aspect, since TF2 was the first game to have loot boxes and F2Ps were punished during the bot crisis for being F2P (they couldn't use voice chat or even call for a medic). Furthermore, Valve is the most inefficient company in the gaming industry. They made the Valve Index and Half-Life Alyx, which was the only game made for the Index specifically. The Valve Index is now obsolete thanks to the Steam Frame. Valve and Steam are not ethical.

- Other companies such as Google and Amazon have their own gaming platforms/consoles, and are obviously not ethical. Amazon has an effective monopoly on online shopping and Jeff Bezos makes his truck drivers pee in bottles in order to meet shipping deadlines. Google and Apple both continue to support an ongoing religion-powered genocide by Israel against the Palestinian people. Epic Games popularized Battle Passes and other kinds of FOMO content, which are addictive to the point where players must grind their games or gamble for the items they want. This is even worse when considering that many children play games like Fortnite, and are therefore exposed to and encouraged to gamble.

- Every other gaming company, including indie devs, are forced to sell their games on at least one of the above platforms in order to make a reasonable profit and/or successfully advertise their games. Most of them will choose all of the above platforms if they are able to. Therefore, every gaming company that sells their games on a Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, or Stadia console, or on Steam, Epic Games, or Amazon PC platforms, or on the Apple Store or Google Play Store, are not ethical.

Ethical Gaming Does Not Exist! If you like video games, play them. Any of them. It doesn't matter which company gets your money because at the end of the day, they all suck. That's capitalism for you!
