Added to inquire about a comment left on one of my addons.

it still seems to be there on my end, so the issue is probably being caused by another addon somehow? i've never seen an issue like this before, but it's always worth checking first.

first, try pasting whereis lua\weapons\gmod_tool\stools\matproxy_tf2itempaint.lua into the console and see if the file is being overwritten by an addon other than the one i just linked.

if that's not the problem, try reloading the game and disabling all addons except for the hat painter, and see if that fixes it - if the tool starts showing up again, then exit the map, re-enable a page or so of addons, and load back into a map to see if it's still working. repeat this process until the tool stops working, and you can narrow down which addon is causing it.

Yeah what holly said it's just straight up gone or am I confused and it just comes with the crit tool? Also this is due to splatoon characters are no longer paintable pls fix

@no loafing He meant a different mod. In the Q menu it's listed as "Color - TF2 Paint" (he was asking for me, I'm making an animation that requires that mod)
