Base-game is very in-depth and challenging.

Different difficulties for those who value more challenge than standard 'Survivor' mode.
Sandbox mode allows you to edit almost every setting in the game, from food spoilage and
plant/environment growth-rate to zombie speed,health and their ability to detect the player.

If you are still unhappy with the game,you can mod it with thousands of mods from the workshop that can make the game more challenging, add QOL or just... 700 cars.

Great game, would sell a kidney to play it for the first time again.
