What a totally radical game dudes & dudette's! Still in the process of beating this game, but after 6 chapters of game play decided to give it an up vote! I keep coming back & playing more regularly! It's B*tchin!

I got sucked into the game right away. I enjoy the pixel play graphics along with the cool illustrated cut scenes! The cut scenes blew my mind at first! Like Whoa!! This is so dope, Fer Sure!

It's intriguing using the team for various puzzles & missions. Keeps it interesting & sometimes it can be a struggle to get through certain areas but manageable.

Overall this game is wicked especially with the sale's price! & Yes.. this game has Stranger Things vibe all over it. Nothing more tripindicular then an 80's retro theme!

⠀⠀⠀I truly believe that if we became more self-aware, the world would become a better place with far less suffering. When we suffer from generational trauma, our brains get stuck with a "survival static" over our true brilliance. When the nervous system is locked in survival mode, cognitive energy goes entirely toward staying safe instead of creating, thinking clearly, or growing. We stay trapped in self-doubt and self-criticism. If we could quiet that survival static, the collective shift toward innovation, empathy, and growth would be massive. Imagine a world thriving on conscious connection—with less greed, less toxic shame, and far more compassion. This requires us to see ourselves clearly and take radical accountability for our own actions. Remember: be gentle and kind to yourself. We are not our trauma. We are not our learned behaviors. The pain of our past does not define who we truly are or determine our worth. Real change always starts within ourselves.

Shenmue I & II

28 Hours played

I've been playing video games 🎮 since I was a kid in the 90's. One of the first things I held was a controller. I was a 5 year old girl trying to beat levels on Super Mario World. I'd play all night on just 1 level until I beat it and repeat. I'm like "I'm gonna be so cool like my big brother! He's gonna be so proud!!"

Fast forward about 10 years. My dad had sent me a few coins for a weekend treat and my brother (who was my guardian at the time) took me to the video store and I rented this game when it first came out. Man, I was hooked. I couldn't believe how much I fell in love with this game. It was instant chemistry for me!! ❤️ We held hands and frolicked in the park. We had picnics together and late nights under the stars.

Then, it was time to return the rental 💔. My brother said if I did a month of hard chores he'd buy it for me and I had to keep my grades on the honor roll. I did.. I did some hard cleaning for 30 days. I really worked for this game 🎮.

"Your soul is mine!" As I returned to buy it.

The capsule toys (so fun)!! I really liked the button set up for the fighting style. I absolutely loved it! I am really good at it. I love the characters, I love the martial arts, the story and also the culture.

My brother was into martial arts. He said.. "If you take this stick to the back yard and sand it down and polish it up, I'll teach you some stuff." I did. I took that stick and made my own bo staff.
Shenmue is so many memories for me. It is my ultimate love as far as games go. 🎮

"Intelligence is far too vast to ever be captured on an IQ test. We don't possess just one standard measure of mind; we carry a beautiful spectrum of different intelligences. Some of us navigate the world through emotional depth, others through artistic creation, logical problem-solving, or physical mastery. Every one of these gifts is "equally" vital to our growth as a collective society."

✯Diamond Destiny✯

Oct 6 @ 12:05pm

"Yet, so many of us carry a heavy weight inside our own minds: the inner critic. It is that quiet, persistent voice telling you that you are stupid, inadequate, or not good enough. It is the voice that actively puts you down and tries to keep you small. But here is the truth you need to remember: that voice is not your reality. It is simply the unhealed product of generational trauma, passed down through echoes of the past. You are not the harsh things that voice tells you. The critical inner voice is merely a reflection of old wounds, not a statement of who you are today. By recognizing where that voice comes from, we can finally begin to silence it and step into our true potential."

⠀

✯Diamond Destiny✯

Oct 6 @ 12:04pm

"Psychology teaches us that human beings naturally project. When we heal our core selves and become secure we start projecting compassion because we have learned true self acceptance and to love our selves fully. When we are hurting, we project our fears, insecurities, and toxic shame—no matter our status or wealth. Secure people don't feel the need to cast negativity onto others. Healing our core wounds changes everything. When we choose self-acceptance and self-love, compassion is the only thing left to project."
