I’m aiming to make this fanfic my best and I just wanted to get everyone on board. It is of course an Olivia and Elliot pairing, and they are very tense with each other but in the end it makes them very close.

Here’s an excerpt:

“Oh you think you’re smart now with all the big words?” Olivia had sarcasm bordering her tone.

He smiled. “I could never be as smart as you think you are.” He told her.

“You could never be smart. I don’t know how you’re fooling these people.” Olivia said and took a step to the counter next to them. She picked up a slide that was ready for magnification and put it under the microscope.

I haven't seen anyone mention this, so I figured I'd fill you in. Mariska Hargitay has a cameo in Mike Meyer's new movie "The Love Guru." It's a small part, but it's pretty memorable, and she looks so stoked to be there! She also mentioned throughout the movie - in fact, they use her name as a kind of running gag (in a good way). Cracked me up every time!

I thought I’d post this for our obsession. I am crediting TV guide. I got this off their website. Everything in Monotype Cursiva is what I got from the site.

Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay, fresh from filming an intense fight scene, is covered head-to-toe in bruises. "We were filming in a real prison in Brooklyn," she explains, while her son plays ball in the hallway. For her character, Olivia, "really bad things happen," she says.

"Olivia goes undercover in a state prison posing as a junkie," shares Mariska Hargitay. "And it turns out a guard is raping women prisoners." Even though Fin and Stabler are also undercover as a guard and a lawyer, Benson isn't safe. "She gets knocked around a lot, and it's really scary," Hargitay says. "I realized with this episode just how obsessive Olivia is, and how far she will go for justice.

"And he was well worth the wait." That's the word from Law & Order: SVU executive producer Neal Baer, announcing the casting of Bill Pullman (Independence Day) as the new (and lucky!) guy in Benson's life.

Mariska Hargitay is sure to be pleased. As she shared with TV Guide just last week, "I've been begging Neal for five years to give me a boyfriend!", Pullman's character, Kurt Moss, is the editor of a fictional New York City newspaper, and first will be seen in the April 22 episode, the procedural's second post-strike outing.

Bill Pullman is the guy off of Casper, if that helps. I had to look him up.

Hey to my fellow SVU-lovers! My name is Melissa, I'm 29 years old, from New Jersey. I've been looking for great communities to chat and post my fan fiction about SVU, and you all seem to fit the bill. If I had to pick a favorite episode, it would have to be between "Raw" (with the Aryan Nation scandal), and "Legacy" (with the little girl that was abused and left for dead by her mother). My first SVU fanfiction is based on the episode "Raw" and my love for John Munch. I've read a lot of really good fiction, but as you know, most of them are based on the relationship between Elliot and Olivia. Don't get me wrong, I love all the characters and relationships on the show, but I'm a huge fan of Richard Belzer, with his dark sunglasses and conspiracy theories. The fictional Law and Order world created by fans on the internet is just as rich as the world we've come to expect from the show itself. Writers, like actors, immerse themselves in their characters, making sure they can hear their character's voice. Whether you've created your own character or adopted one from canon, this is an opportunity to get to know that person and to explore them completely. Maybe the canon character you chose has holes in his or her background; it's up to you to fill them in. Original characters give you complete creative freedom.

all_in_order is a group of talented writers with a passion for solving crimes. Our cases are original as well as based on true crimes. We strive for excitement, camaraderie, and a great all-encompassing story. We're a new community with kinks to iron out but we're also open to ideas, thoughts, and changes. We'd love to have new players to compliment our already strong, albeit small cast.

Hay guyz. So I'm really anal about my SVU episodes and I KNOW for a fact that I set the VCR to start taping at 9:59 last night, except it started at 10:01 instead for whatever reason, which consequently meant I missed the first couple of minutes that aired before the SVU theme played. I'm wondering if anyone could provide me with a summary of just what happened in those two minutes or so that doesn't spoil the rest of the episode? I reeeally want to know the background before I watch the rest of it. D: Thanks!

Beach joins 'Law & Order: SVU'
Actor to become regular on hit NBC show

"Flags of Our Fathers" thesp Adam Beach is joining the cast of "Law & Order: SVU."
Beach, who had a guest turn as Brooklyn detective Chester Lake on an episode of the skein that aired Tuesday, is in final talks to become a series regular. He's expected to return later this season.

"SVU" creator Dick Wolf first worked with Beach on "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee," the HBO telepic Wolf produced. Beach has the lead role in the project, which is expected to debut in May and is already being considered one of the paybox's key longform Emmy contenders.

Beach's other credits include "Windtalkers," "Joe Dirt" and "Mystery, Alaska." He'll also appear in upcoming CBS mini "Comanche Moon," the Eye's follow-up to "Lonesome Dove."
