Discussion, fanfic, fan art, and anything else about the "Tomb Raider" movies (not the video games)
Whether or not you're a fan of the "Tomb Raider" video games, the chief requirement of this community is an interest in the 2001 and 2003 movies "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" or "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life." This is a place for anything related to the movies, their characters, plots, settings and destinations ... and speculation and news on the future of the film franchise.
Movie fanfiction (fictional-person only, please), fan art, videos, photos, discussion, meta, icons, news, speculation - all are welcome here! Please be aware while this is a public journal, some material may be rated mature (in other words, parent your children online - don't let us do it). There are a few simple rules, mostly common sense:
A. Please be considerate of this community's members f-lists and lj-cut-hide any excessively long text in posts. Also, please lj-cut-hide any large or multiple photos or videos - one above the cut is fine, as long as it's not excessively large. If you're offering avatars, a few above the cut to "tease" is OK.
B. For fanfic, please include a summary, rating, and disclaimer above the cut. For not-safe-for-work images, please hide behind an lj-cut and alert readers that it IS NSFW. If you're posting fic, fanart, or videos, please show a rating, summary, characters, and disclaimer above any cut of your posting. Gen, het, and slash are all welcome here.
C. This is an all-inclusive community - whether your favorite character is Lara herself or the little girl who loans her the gum in the second movie, please be respectful of other members and commenters. Remember, we're here to drink the tea, not be shown the door!
D. Finally - please stick to these movies; there are other communities for the individual actors and their other projects. However, if you find some nifty photos or videos or news of "behind the scenes," red carpet, or otherwise depicting the actors in relation to these movies, feel free to share with the rest of the parlor. (This is not to say we can't occasionally wander off on a tangent about an actor's other movies in the comments - and that's OK!) Likewise, TR video game discussion is not prohibited, but try to tie it in with the movie, somehow.
