middleman_no7 @ 10:30am: back and around. hungover from a weekend of headlights and music. NOT looking forward to the drive back to the holding area. But, last night I was listening to all the conspiracy chat on the buzzard. This morning I saw all the conspiracy chat on the standard morning news blah. And now on MTV2 its nirvana day. You never know what kind of mess you wake up to, but its great having something to change the channel to these days. Makes me feel like I get my moneys worth.

"Van Halen" just began playing on iTunes, and of course, it reminded me of here.


So, the rumor is to have Funky Fresh's homecoming here at 2B. It is unanimous that not only is this an honor, but we are hoping to have an old fashioned "it's-snowing-so-we-have-to-be-holed-up-here-for-four-days-while-cabin-fever-sets-in" sleep over.

Once we have a set date, I'm sure it will be posted here, and, in turn, everyone can plan their schedules accordingly.

Anyway, not much is going on in High Point...Until next month. Furniture Market. (shudder) Pray for us locals.

So I'm done with the play. And it was good. Both performances went quite smoothly. People laughed a bunch. I got a mid-performance round of applause for one of my lines. That was hard not to break character to smile, and I ended up a bit distracted. Rama was uber-sweet and bought me a rose and a bottle of Cognac, plus he wrote some really nice things in a card that just about made me cry. Of course, right after we finished our last performance, I felt a little depressed instead of relieved. This happens after most of my artistic endeavors. It's like all my seritonin has been oozed out onto the stage, and I have nothing left to go on. Usually physical affection eases me along, but I had little of that last night.


Does anyone have any webspace that they would let me use to host my songs?

I have created this community in hopes that we can all enjoy posting in it, and reading each other's post. If there may be anyone that would like to become a member, you probably have a better idea on how to do that than me. Just let me know, I will, you know, ad you or something. Let me just end post by saying its been a real pleasure reading some folks lj's while out and about in the world. Keep it real and be an updating member of the Bob Dole Bar's live journal.
