Letter from the director
From beloved classics to world premieres, from musical theatre to dance, the 65th Season of the ECU/Loessin Playhouse offers something for every audience member. We are thrilled to invite you to join us!
The 2026-2027 season features an exciting lineup of productions, including the iconic musical Godspell; a Halloween-season production of the horror classic Frankenstein; the world premiere of the new play Randi & Roxanne; a cinema-themed dance concert Dance Goes to the Movies; and the rock musical adaptation of the bestselling young adult series The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.
This season, we are also delighted to welcome audiences behind the scenes of the creative process with the Uncharted Seriesâa collection of new dance works and staged readings of new plays presented in an intimate setting, often followed by discussions with the creators.
We look forward to sharing another unforgettable season celebrating the transformative power of live performance with you!
