What is theme_blends?
Theme_blends is a blend challenge community, designed for anyone who likes blending, but doesn't want to be limited to certain individuals, like celebrities. The process of blending is easy (just arrange and merge two or more digital images together), but the technique of using brushes, textures, and text to create an aesthetic blend is a fun and addicting process. Feel free to blend with stock images, your own pictures, or celebrity pictures... whatever inspires you.
Challenges here will be to submit a blend that relates to a certain abstract theme, such as love, power, or sex. Challenges are given every 2 weeks by the maintainer.
All past and present challenges are listed in the community memories.

Community Rules
1. You must be a member of the community to submit a blend
2. Blends must be uploaded to your own server
3. Blends can be any size, but should be bigger than 300x300 pixels
4. Profanity and sexual images are fine when used with discretion
5. Do not enter blends that you have used in other challenges or you will be disqualified
6. To vote, you must have participated in at least one challenge within the last 2 months
7. Please respect your fellow artists
Submitting a Challenge Entry
Please submit blends as a .jpg, .gif, or.png only. No animated blends.
Remember that your blend needs to be hosted on its own server (see resources below for a list of hosts)

The top three awards will be voted on by the community. To vote, leave a comment (again, screened by default) in the voting entry with the name of the blend that you think is best. Please don't vote for yourself. Remember, in order to vote, you must have participated in at least one challenge with in the last 2 months.
