The Wizards are the people of the woods, the people of magic. They lived in this part of the world long before the The Warriors stretched out their iron glove to it, and the creatures and spirits of the land are yet loyal to them.

They live in smaller tribes in the forest, unlike the Warriors in their stone-and-iron fort, and are led by Chiefs like Encanzo, although every clan answers to the Great Wizard Enchanter, who is the king of wizards and wildwoods. The title is passed from parent to child, and typically held by one of great magical power. The most powerful of these tribes are the Droods, who reside in the banks of the Lake of the Lost. The wizard tribes also extend across the Wildwoods and beyond and many have distinguishing features in their appear that one can use to identify their tribe. Among these tribes are the Bog Wizards from the East, who can be identified by their and their companions bright green skin colouration.

Powerful though they are, they are not fighters. It has taken all their cunning and magic, and all the help of the Giants, Sprites, Snowcats and other creatures to keep the land their own.

They are enemies of the Witches, for they strive to create, while Witches seek to destroy.
