1. Always type in a subject (even if all you type in is "no subject"). and Always always select a mood. Creative subjects are interesting and I like them a lot. Moods are always a good thing because you know how the writer felt when typing their post. Always always have a subject + mood.

2. Good grammar is a must. Improper grammar and misspelled words are a sign of imbecility and we don't want any imbeciles in this community because imbecility is quite annoying.

  • Capitalize when needed
  • End your sentences properly
  • Spell correctly
  • No abbreviated words such as "ppl"
  • Use correct words (there + their and where + were)
  • Don't use one word for the meaning of another such as "no" for the word "know".
  • Make sure your post actually makes sense and double check before posting.

3. When posting pictures, the width can be no larger than 400 pixels. We can't have anything larger than 400 pixels as a width because anything larger will break the layout and make the front page unorganized and I hate when things aren’t orderly. If you need to post a picture larger than 400 pixels, you must use a livejournal cut.

4. When posting insanely large text posts, use a livejournal cut to keep it neat. More on this topic in #7.

5. Try to spice up your post by including pictures. Redundant text posts can become really irritating really fast. They are boring and sometimes people just skip over the text posts because they don't feel like reading it all. When you put in a picture, your post instantly catches some readers eyes.

6. Short posts are extremely irritating. One sentence long posts really get me pissed off and it especially pisses me off when one person insists on only posting one sentence long posts multiple times. Just don't do it. Once or twice is okay as long as your sentence or two are interesting and worthy of being read.

7. Constant long posts are irritating also. Just don't do it. If you have a lot to say, write an introduction and then put the rest behind a livejournal cut. People are lazy these days and it's a pain in the butt to scroll past extremely long posts. Also, people are so lazy that when they first see how long a long post is, they skip over it no matter how interesting or entertaining the post may be. If you write an introduction that can grab people attentions, then even the laziest of people might read the rest of your post if they enjoyed the introduction.

8. Don't whine and complain about personal things. #1, it's annoying. #2, no one cares about how bad your life is. #3, don't look for sympathy. #4, you have your own journal for that. If you post something that is annoyingly whiney, it will be deleted and you will be warned about it. If it happens again, you'll be banned. I can't stand it when people whine on livejournal.

9. Don't post anything racist. It's rude and I won't stand for it. You can have your own opinions about whomever you want but I can't stand it when people try to force their opinions on others especially when their opinions have no acceptable reasoning behind it.

10. Have fun. This is all this community is and if you don't have fun, you should leave because no one likes a party-pooper.
