…[The Great Gatsby] is loved because it creates the most fantastic world in the reader’s imagination. No matter how beautiful and brilliant Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation, it will never be able to compete.
An excellent piece. The story of Gatsby relies on the intangible and ephemeral delicacies of imagination. And this trailer is just indelicate. Beautiful and striking, but indelicate.
