I overlooked it when I was uploading my videos to YouTube, so just got it up recently.  Lately I've been mostly working on Fine Arts videos - harking back to an old Art History/Physics major.  Most are chronological so give a quick overview of an artist's style development.  The Fine Arts Playlist, for anyone interested, is:

I attended the 1992 NAB convention and videotaped the induction of the Star Trek main characters into the National Association of Broadcasters' Hall of Fame. This is just that part of the ceremony. Handheld. Don't think any other fans were there, and doubt this ceremony has ever seen the light of day before. Only wish I could have gotten away with a tripod during the luncheon. I'll put up the whole 42 min raw footage tomorrow. Lots of chewing in the raw footage, as well as Larry King's induction and Don Rickles' roast of him.

Around 1987 Edi made this tape of her talk and sent it to me to illustrate with video, leaving black gaps at the time for her to use to catch up if she spoke too fast or too slow.  Over the last weeks I've filled in all the gaps and updated the images.  There was little I could do with the very old audio.  It's very pro Blakes 7 as I had just seduced her into the fandom, to the Nome editor's everlasting dismay.

Edi died in 2005, years after she suffered a massive stroke that stopped her from working or creating in ST fandom as Flora Poste.  I've wanted to do this forever in order to honor her, and I am just so pleased to have finally gotten it done.

I love the Halloween season. I have never celebrated Halloween in my life, nor do I now. I think it is pointless, and it is also against my religious beliefs. But I love it, if only for the costumes and pieces I can pick up at the shops - things that are impossible to find any other time of the year.

I do a lot of drawing, practically every hour of the day. Unfortunately (or fortunately, I guess) on the one day when I was supposed to do a "sketchbook assignment" I didn't want to draw. I didn't want to do anything, but I had to hand something in. So I drew like a five year old and created a story that only barely made sense if you were hit in the head.

I have put up some scans from this double issue before - Cinefantastique 1987, with a focus on "Star Trek: The Movie Trilogy" (referring to The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, and The Voyage Home). I love this issue, as it is practically taken over by interviews and articles on my favorite subject.



After directing "The Search for Spock", Leonard Nimoy was fortunate (and talented) enough to direct his second Star Trek movie - this time being one of the stars, as well.

I was locked out of my house after work the other day for about an hour,
with nothing to do. Luckily, I just so happened to have some pens on
me, and there was a recycling bin in the parking lot. I walked over,
opened the recycling bin, and picked out a manilla envelope. I proceeded

I have had a science tricorder for quite a while now (I used to wear it to school every day), and I recently got an amazing custom Kirk shirt. I came home the other day with a mask from the dollar store, drew eyebrows on it, and went outside to take some pictures.

They turned out amazingly.

Updated on every second day - Vulcan quote cards. I create these cards ink on card stock, and add a filter in Photoscape. The names of those whom the quotes are credited to are written on the side in Vulcan calligraphy, and a portion of the quotes are translated into both Vulcan and English. I hope you enjoy looking at/reading these as much as I enjoy making them!

On the way to the park for International Cosplay Day, I picked up a McCoy figure for fifteen dollars. It had been in the same cabinet for an entire year- I don't know why I didn't get him before.

We brought McCoy everywhere with us, so that he could observe the culture of the giant beings that had abducted him and kept him in a cage in so long. In this parallel earth, many dangers awaited him - we were his only protection.
