Aw.
I'm not in band anymore.
It's sad.
I realized how much I miss band now that I'm out of it.
I mean, it has changed a LOT since my freshman year, but I miss those days. Practices in the rain with a white shirt on...the last practice...football games...coffee talks (hell, I'm the reason they're called coffee talks!!!)...competitions...bus rides...tour buses...concert season...festival...
I realize now that I'm never going to be a part of any of that ever again...it sucks!
Waa.
Can I be a senior again?
Btw, this community is dead like WHOA.

*That's nice, I don't really care: Well, good for u, why'd u ask then?
*Okay let's start with this, do you consider yourself to be a band dork?: That's a definete yes.
*Are you proud of it?: yes and no
*Do you like your uniform?: Yeah. I think it looks cool compared to some of the otehrs I've seen. i wish we ahd gloves though. That way our ahnds wouldn't freeze during teh winter. :(
*Does it fit?: kinda. for the most part yes.
*What does it look like?: navy pants w/ black suspenders, white and blue coat with a patch of our school emblem in the upper left hand side. We have navy blue braided thingies on the shoulders and of course a blue chord on my right arm for being an officer. Other then that u got the black socks and dinkles and there u go.
*Do you roll your feet outside of band?: yeah, lol, it keeps you from spilling things.
*Has anyone ever said anything to you about it?: yeha but the ones that do are in band. we joke around about it.
*What's your band director's name?: James, Micheal, and Phil. I have three.
*What do non-band people think about him/her?: they don't say anything at all.
*What is their original instrument?: trumpet, percussion,a nd trombone
*What do you play?: clarinet and sax.
*Do you enjoy it?: yes otherwise i'd quite awhile ago
*If you HAD to switch, what would you play?: trumpet because i like it's sound and I'd like to march in DCI.
*Have you ever dated another band dork?: yeah, 2
*What did he or she play?: clarinet/bass clarinet, and at the moment, trumpet
*How long did you last?: 2 weeks and 2 days and at the moment 3 weeks
*Do you still talk to them?: yeah, they're both my best friends
*Did your break up affect your band life?: no
*What is/are your drum major(s) like?: Melissa is cool cause she jokes around and I've looked up to ehr ever since middle school. She's really funny. Jackie is like my sister. We were marching buddies last year and I love her to death. <3333. I think u get the point. Think role model. Michelle I don't kno to well but she almost always has a smile on her face and I like how she conducts. She's fly.
*Have you ever wanted them to die?: No!
*Have you ever plotted out their death?: no!
*Have you ever went through with your plan?: what plan?
*Do you get along with your section?: yes and no. I am their section leader. Sometimes we're good and soemtimes we're not. As far as people go. Won't get into anythign else on that one.
*Are you section leader?: yes
*Do you prefer marching band or concert band?: marching
*Have you ever been ridiculed for being in band?: yeah
*If so, how did you respond?: i dunno.
*Have you and your band friends ever made and laughed at inside jokes in front of non-band people?: yeah, all the time.
*Did they look at you funny?: yeah.
*Did you explain the joke to them?: yeah but sometimes they didnt get it.
*Do you feel bad about laughing at those inside jokes in front of non-band people?: nope.
*What do you think about bus rides?: I love them!
*In the dark?: makes them all teh better!
*With that special someone?: sometimes
*Have you ever made out on the band bus?: just once.
*In the band room?: heck no.
*Does your band get along with the football team?: we haven't really sociallized but yeah. They team loves us.
*The cheerleaders?: no socializing at all so can't say.

*The cadence?: occasionally.

*Does your section have a mascot?: no.
*Is your section known for doing something?: no.
*Are you a good marcher?: yup, we had a competition in class and i was one of the last standing 3
*Are you a good fellow band member?: usually.
*Do you consider the band your second family?: yeah.
*Does your band room smell funny?: well, yeah.
*Do you believe in the power of duct tape?: yup.
*Have you ever tried to convince people that duct tape is magical?: no
*Is your band director a tape artist?: no.
*Is your band ghetto?: no
*Has your band director ever filled the basses and snares with foam lining and packing peanuts for indoor season because the line is large?: no.
*Is your band instructor hot?: the one kinda is
*Have you ever been harrassed by a drummer?: don't think so
*Have you ever been to a band geek party?: no.
*Are your woodwinds annoying?: I am a woodwind. No, we're not annoying.
*Are your brass annoying?: Only the trumpets are annoying.
*Is the battery annoying?: naw
*Is the pit annoying?: naw
*Is the guard annoying?: Not usually, they just aren't the best twirlers.
*Who is by far the most annoying?: The trumpets, definetly
*Does your band have any rituals?: We used to have dresscode(naked) rehersals and we play You'll Never Walk Alone after every event we do. There's a whole lot more.
*What's your favorite bus ride food?: We can't eat in uniform.
*Have you ever woken up after a bus ride to find your sandal missing and a nacho stuck in between your toes?: ew... no.
*Have you ever played truth or dare on the bus?: no.
*Have you ever been dared to go up to someone in their sleep and lick a body part?: no.
*Have you ever used the Bathroom of Doom?: the bathroom of doom? what is that?
*Have you ever sang the whole show along with the rest of the bus until the bus driver threatened to make everyone sit in complete silence all the way home?: the bus driver's don't typically pay much attention to us, but the whle bus has sung the show, yes.
*Have you ever pissed off another band by playing your cadence while they are trying to concentrate on their cadence?: naw
*Does your band have any parodies to stands music?: um, not quite sure.
*Do people in the band like to steal stuff?: we have some suspicions
*What's the craziest thing they've stolen?: i dunno.
*What makes your band room 'unique' from others?: it's kind of a cool place to hang out in the morning.
*Do you like those 'You Know You've Been In Band Too Long' lists?: yeah, i love them
*Do you like this survey?: yeah, it's cool.
