Baby No Burger needs YOU!
Anxious to become a noise legend?
I'm planning on using 20 distinct samples in my upcoming experimental music CD. Ten of those will be one-word voice samples, one for each mystically-relevant letter. OK, not so mystically relevant; it's just the ten most frequently used letters in English. I want to introduce a little randomness into my concept and select 2-4 samples recorded by other people.
SO! If you would like to get mentioned in the credits to "Baby No Burger", record a straight, unprocessed sample of yourself saying one word. You can say it in any kind of voice you'd like, as long as it's clear what the word is. It can be one or more syllables. I would like one second of silence at the beginning and the end, so I figure the sample will be 3 to 10 seconds long.
Please add a comment to this post with a link to your sample and how you would like you name spelt for the credits. Your sample, if selected, will appear in two tracks. It's possible your sample will be used without effects once or twice, so if you don't want people to hear you saying "rutabaga", you might not want to participate. You can record as many samples as you want, but I will probably only choose one per person. There's no guarantee I will use any of the samples: it all depends on which words amuse and interest me (and whether they begin with one of the magic letters, of course.)
