Wouldn't shock the fashion police by much, but while moving, we found my grandmother's old clothes. We're talking an 80's purple paisley motive dress that looks like new and is damn modern, considering the fashion right now.

I'm still alive! Life got a little weird there for a few months, but I'm not officially settled into my new home. I've got my own stereo and tv installation in my room now, but still no desk. I'm in the kitchen right now and about to watch The Pacific, which I just bought on DVD.

Lessee ... I moved about 30 boxes into the car with two other people in about thirty minutes.

And somehow we gotta find time to tend to the neighbors? Yeah, not gonna happen.

So little time, so much to do. I'm in a bit of a funk, which totally isn't getting remedied by watching Reaper. I feel lazy and I probably am lazy too, because there's so much more I could be doing, but alas! Only 24 hours in a day, and I need sleep.

I'd tackle my tags and totally wanted to, but then I found my 'design 1900' set tucked away in the attic and I had to squee over it.

And now I see it actually goes for 100 buck a plate, and 36 bucks for a cup and plate.

... I shan't be using it. EVER. FUCK, 150 dollars for a coffee can? There goeth my plan to complete the collection.

BUT I FOUND ALL OF MY POPPY Z BRITE BOOKS AND THEN I FOUND A BRAND NEW LOST SOULS FANMIX WHICH WAS LIKE A 'WOAH' MOMENT. And it is so epic, I'm going to have to take a few hours to listen to it.

De nacht komt. Ik schaats door het hele oeuvre van de Stones. Keer tegen het ontwaken van de dag terug bij Angie - straalbezopen zie ik de maan wegbleken - en denk eindelijk dat ik vat heb op de melancholie. Ik zing mee: 'Oh Angie, when will those dark clouds disappear/Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here....'
Ik word wakker van de stad die al aan het beuken en zagen is. Er heerst bedrijvigheid in de huizen en straten om mij heen, maar in mijn hoofd dendert een stekende pijn die minstens even erg is als in de tijd dat Angie voor het eerst te horen was.

Flailing a little here. Just came back from my Reading Culture class. Did I mention that I'm studying to be a librarian these days?

Anyhow, I'm expected to read. No biggie there. But I'm also expected to learn all of the following by heart; all of the (most) important Dutch writers for adults and children, what their contribution to society is, and all of their book titles. The first part of the textbook's over 60 pages!

The flailing will pass. But it was stupid of me to jump into this going on just one hour of sleep. So, I will go get some sleep and then will tackle a variety of RP stuff.

For my 15 minute representation, I've still got no idea who to pick though. Pft.
