Greece photos have been added to the portfolio! Check out the category. A flickr set is of course also available. I still have some photos to add but most of the ones I wanted there have been uploaded.

As you can see from the images in this journal entry, I've been very busy organizing my deviantART print account, trying to get more prints ready. The pink feather one for now has been removed as I didn't like the text, but I'll get a re-upload ready soon!

I'm trying to join a photography club in my city but I think they're on summer hiatus, I'm not getting a reply to my request LOL. Well, I'm sure it will come. Otherwise I'll contact someone else. Looking forward to being more active in photography, among peers.

Finally, a new layout for Phantomato.com is in the making; I want it to be lighter and calmer. The goal is to have it ready between my return from Italy and the start of my psychology internship.

more work at flickr - new window

I arrived at home yesterday evening. My parents came to pick me up, we ate Belgian fries from a paper "puntzak" (pointy bag) and then made the two hour drive home from Amsterdam.

I visited Greece this time. My hotel was located in Athens, the city where I naturally spent most of my time, but Delphi was visited as well as Piraeus, a harbor city below Athens.

The highlight of the trip for me was the 3 hour evening walk around Akropolis along with my companion for the evening, Dimitrios, hotel receptionist. A kind middleaged man who reminded me very much of someone dear to me who passed away in February. He held my tripod while we scouted for suitable locations to take photos, and afterwards we sat down with street musicians and Dimitrios played 4 beautiful Greek songs.

Though I'm pleased to be at home again, where I prepare my next trip - to Italy - I also feel sad because being on the road and out there is like home to me. But there is time.

(Greece photos will be added to the portfolio before the next journal update!)
