After you sign-up, make sure that you join vortexbigbang. We will be using this community for communication with the participants, so please make sure you join & watch it. If you're not a livejournal member, make sure to email the mods (contact information is on the profile) so we can keep you updated on what's happening with the challenge. We know that artist sign-ups don't close for a while, but we would really appreciate it if you would sign-up as soon as possible so we can get an idea of numbers.

We'd like to have a general idea of what pairings are going to be represented and what maximum ratings authors are comfortable with. We promise that we will do our very best when making assignments for artists, but we can't promise that you'll love it. We will, however, work with artists that are feeling uninspired and see what we can do to help.

General FAQ
What's a Big Bang?
This particular usage traces back to 2006, when some folks in the Harry/Draco corner of HP fandom invited a handful of authors to create H/D novels of at least 50,000 words. Since then, the idea has been adapted to various other pairings, fandoms, and characters. This one is centered the Who universe and all the love people in it. (answer directly from HG Big Bang)

Please be as detailed as possible! Remember all fics will all by 20k plus. Some writers will do crossovers so please remember to include other fandoms you are familiar with.
