What’s this!?! A new contest! And you thought that we mods had forgotten about you. ^_^ Sorry about the hiatus, but life’s been rough lately for us mods. My laptop died about three months ago, and I’ve only now been able to get a new one. But that’s ok, because now Merlin is back and he’s ready to give you guys a new challenge!

Theme: Makings of a True Hero
Directions: What is the making of a true hero, you ask? Why, it’s the Sidekick! You can’t be a good hero without your trusty sidekick! So, while we Americans are celebrating our heroes, I’ve decided to let the sidekicks have the spotlight for once. Your challenge is simple. Create an icon featuring a sidekick. The hero may be included, but the emphasis must be on the sidekick. Please understand that all icons are up to my discretion. If I think you’ve missed the theme, I will let you know.
Entries: Text is allowed, blending is allowed! No animations. You may enter THREE (3) icons. ^_^

Character: King Triton
Directions: For being the Sea King he sure doesn’t get much icon love. ^_^ Well, I’m here to fix that! Your Profile challenge this week is to create an icon featuring King Triton, using one of the three caps provided. ^_^

Entries: Same rules as above. Text and blending of the three above pictures only is allowed. However you may only enter TWO (2) icons for the character challenge.

*All icons must be new! As in they can not be any more than SEVEN (7) days old.

*All icons must fit LJ standards (no more than 100x100 pixels, no more than 40kb)
*You do not have to enter both challenges.

Also, with getting a new computer, I unfortunately lost my Photoshop, so I will not be able to make banners. If someone would be willing, I would appreciate it. ^_^ Thanks again!

Directions: Extremely simple. Icons can only be in black and white. NO COLOR. Anywhere. Ever. At all.

Theme: Four
Directions: Take this theme as you like, as long as there is something to do with the number four in it. Like four legs, four characters, four dancing plates, some kind of lyrics with "four" in. But no cheating and just writing "four" or "4" on the icon. Be creative! Ask questions if you're unsure of anything.
Entries: You may enter up to three icons. Text, blending is allowed. No animations!

I know I still have banners to make and they're ... coming. I'm not sure when though, because I formatted my computer a couple of weeks ago, and my external drive (that had all my backups on, including my icon stuff!) got corrupted. Lovely. So I need to rebuild all my stuff back up *sigh*

Directions: It's a very general term so I'm going to be pretty lax about what goes. Power could be electricity (no icons of tv sets though.. i need to see the power/electricity), it could be super powers (those need to be in effect. violet with her bubble on == a-okay), or any number of other things.
