Indeed, “System” cannot be excluded because it is not a user, but it is used when a process is executed by the system itself, i.e. WordPress, or an automated process.
Howeer, tehre are ways and means how you can work around this. Can you please tell us which specific events and changes you do not want to see? We’d like to learn more about your setup and requirements so we can better assist you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi, well it’s all types of actions done by “system” which I dont want to see. I’m only interested to see the log of actions done by 1 specific user role (admins), which I’ve already filtered but I still see “system” log appearing. I dont want this system, it’s not relevant to me and it’s being logged for nothing to me. Please give a setting to not record system log.
Sorry for the late reply jeriss.
At the moment it is not possible to exclude “system” from the logs. However, we’ve had a chat and we will be looking into how we can support this in the upcoming updates.
In the meantime, it is worth pointing out that you can disable specific event IDs from the activity log – you might already know about this, but in case you didn’t.
I am sorry I couldn’t give you a solution right now. Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
