Welcome to the FernGully Livejournal Community! Come on you remember that movie don't you? The one a good majority of us absolutely ADORED as kids? ;D

And here we are 15 years later and the fandom is still going strong. So why hasn't there been an LJ community for this before now huh?

We're the FIRST! Unless you want to prove me wrong!

This is your mod Toni speaking, though most of you will probably know me better as Schrei or Lani. I'm just your average FernGully fangirl, who just happened to be sick of the lack of fandom and decided she wanted to do something about it! :D

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, ideas, concerns, cookies, sexual favors etc. I swear I won't bite unless provoked. ;D

Now go forth and plug this comm to all your fellow fans, cos I KNOW there are a LOT of you out there in the same fandom boat as the rest of us, so let's gather together and have some fun!

♦ Intro posts aren't necessary...seriously we don't bite. ;D

♦ Please use appropriately labeled LJ-cuts when posting large images and fics. With icons, you can display a max no. of 3 but the rest have to be behind a cut.

♦ All fanworks and pairings welcome - slash, het, you name it, so long as it's related to FernGully! :D

♦ Canon also includes characters from the novel. Also note that the sequel has a number of glitches that displace it from the original film if you're going to be using that as reference.

♦ Please give WARNING when putting up non-worksafe material - have it behind a LJ-cut and/or friends-lock the post. Whatever you like. See the bottom of this userinfo page for details.

♦ Respect other members! No bashing, flaming or impolite comments! Otherwise you WILL be banned!

♦ No stolen work! D: If something isn't yours give credit to whoever it DOES belong to or get their permission first.

♦ Cross-posting IS allowed, and please, where you can, tag EVERYTHING. Seriously, it's painful having to rifle through the archives for something specific, so save others the trouble!
