Wikidata
Elative case
Elative is a locative case with the basic meaning "out of". In Finnish elative is typically formed by adding "sta/stä", in Estonian by adding "st" to the genitive stem. In Hungarian the suffix "ból/ből" is used for elative. "talosta" - "out of the house, from house" "majast" - "out of the house, from house" "házból" - "out of house" In some dialects of Spoken Finnish it is common to drop the last vowel and thus the usage of elative resembles that of Estonian, for example "talost".
