Last year in late November I asked everyone to tell me what CDs they listened to that year. And then got overloaded by trying to catch up with them all. Nor did only having one month with them and everything else new I got in December really treat them fairly. I mean, December last year I did not have a love affair with Jukebox the Ghost yet, and if I had I would have definitely put them in my top albums of last year list. There's stuff on that list from '08 that I don't think I've listened to since. Though, I basically stand by my top 10 - I'd have to put Let Live and Let Ghost in there somewhere, but that's past.

So, I'm trying to be proactive this year and get two months of time with those CDs, and maybe not force it so much. Last year I put myself, in December of a ONLY 2008 release playlist - and despite having what are some of my favorite albums of EVER (WKAP, FP) and I'm not really sure if 2009 has given me as many albums that I would take on a deserted island. There are a few, but not as many as last year. And I wonder if that's just cause I haven't heard it yet!
