I along with scholar-curator Monxo López and The Clemente Center built Historias in Motion: Cigar Workers’ University to honor, through an augmented-reality monument, the Puerto Rican and Cuban cigar workers who turned their factory floors into classrooms, their labor into art, and their exile into community.
