There are two systems in use for registering to attend the event:

The Public Registration System is used by all attendees to complete their registrations. Paid & invited attendees will need to complete all steps themselves, whereas attendees uploaded via the Client Portal (former E&P system) with the single or bulk upload tool, will only be required to add in some additional personal information and submit their ID and photo for their identity check. 

The Client Portal (former E&P System) is used for those with a complimentary allocation of passes to register their visitors and staff.

Is there a minimum age to attend MWC Barcelona?
Yes, the minimum age to attend MWC is 16 years.

Prayer Rooms at MWC

Yes. MWC provides dedicated prayer rooms, dates and water for breaking the fast. 

Are prayer rooms available at MWC?

Yes. There are two purpose-built prayer rooms located in Hall 3 and Hall 7, with separate areas for men and women.  

What are the prayer rooms opening hours?

The prayer rooms are open 08:00–19:00 Monday to Wednesday and 08:00–16:00 Thursday 

Are prayer facilities available for both men and women?

Yes. Both prayer rooms have separate areas for men and women to provide privacy and comfort.

Are there facilities for ablution (wudu)?

Yes. Washroom facilities are conveniently located near the prayer rooms for ablution before prayer.

Can I perform Tarawih or extended prayers at MWC?

The dedicated prayer rooms are available only during their published opening hours. For Tarawih or extended night prayers after Iftar, MWC recommends visiting one of Barcelona’s local mosques.

Is there support for Iftar at MWC?

Yes. Dedicated areas next to the prayer rooms offer dates and water for attendees to break their fast at Iftar, available from 18:00–19:00, Monday to Wednesday.

Can I use the prayer rooms for meetings with clients or business partners?

No. These spaces are intended primarily for personal worship, reflection and meditation. Standard meeting or lounge areas should be used for business or client meetings.

What if I need a meal after Iftar?

As Iftar coincides with the end of the event day, attendees can arrange meals through their hotel or accommodation provider. Those who have booked accommodation through MWC’s official partner, network, can contact their customer service representative for assistance with arrangements. Attendees who booked through other channels should contact their hotel directly.

Is Suhoor available?

For Suhoor, attendees who have booked accommodation through network can contact their customer service representative to request assistance arranging an early-morning meal with their hotel or accommodation provider. Attendees who booked through other channels should contact their hotel directly. 

Rebroadcasting 

Should you wish to rebroadcast, share, or otherwise use any media content derived from our events, please contact your GSMA representative to obtain the necessary license by signing our GSMA Events' Rebroadcasting Terms of Use before rebroadcasting any event content.

Yes, you must first obtain the necessary consent from the speaker before rebroadcasting any event content. 

Meditation & Reflection

Is there a meditation space at MWC?

Yes. A dedicated meditation space is available in Hall 3 and is open to all genders.

What are the meditation space opening hours?

The meditation space is open 08:00–19:00 Monday to Wednesday and 08:00–16:00 Thursday.
