NASP 2027 Annual Convention
Build stronger school crisis readiness
PREPaRE’s third edition curriculum brings current research and practical strategies for integrated crisis prevention, planning, response, and recovery.

All PREPaRE workshops will take place at The Westin Charlotte, connected to the Charlotte Convention Center by a bridge on the meeting room level.

Build Practical Skills. Gain research-based strategies for school crisis prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery.

Earn NASP-approved CPD credit while building skills you can put into practice in your school or district. (NASP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NASP maintains responsibility for this program and its content.)
Core workshops
In-person PREPaRE core workshops provide in-depth training in school safety and crisis intervention while earning NASP-approved CPD credit.
PREPaRE Training of Trainer (ToT) Scholarship
NASP is holding a scholarship for attendance of the ToT workshops. Paid registration is not currently available. NASP will monitor demand for additional ToT workshop sessions at Convention and make a decision about paid registration based on demand.

Training of Trainer (ToT) Workshops
Training of Trainer workshops are available to eligible participants who have completed the corresponding third edition core workshop in person. NASP will confirm eligibility for all registrations.
Note. Paid registration for the ToTs is not currently available. A limited number of scholarships are available. Learn more and apply for a scholarship. ToT1 Participants must have a professional background and experience working in education, mental health, law enforcement, or safety and security field AND have at least 2 years of experience working full time in or closely with schools regarding emergency preparedness.
ToT2 Participants must be a school-based mental health professional and/or a mental health professional providing mental health services in schools (e.g., school psychologist, school counselor, school social worker, school nurse, etc.) AND have at least 2 years of experience working full time in schools/providing services to school-based populations.
