Reason: Extensive vandalism from multiple accounts, including some extremely harmful one like declaring deaths of living people. All of these accounts follow a similar pattern: usernames consisting of a city name and year, creating items without sources like Anastasiya Meshcheryakova (Q137711461) (mostly correct but fake date and place of birth and citizenship) or Q138018352 (such person seems to exist but information is impossible to verify) and adding nonsensical information to items (such as changing birth places to some funny placenames, adding dishes to nonsensical or unlikely cuisines, a living person dying in future or in a plane crash in Ukraine where no planes are flying and people being buried in unlikely places such as a power station, a confectionery factory, a metro station or a football stadium). Sometimes multiple accounts interact in abusive way, such as this edit war for the (fake) date of death of a person who is actually alive. The main goals of this CU request are:

By the way, you know well that we cannot check or disclose the IP's of the temporary accounts, since they're basically IP's for privacy reasons, so I won't touch them, just to be clear. Of course I know that you can't disclose temporary accounts, but you can still use them to identify other sockpuppets from the corresponding ranges. Reason: Created per Jasper Deng's request over at WD:AN. The MO of each sock is fairly consistent: They always create empty new items with a made up Japanese term in the English label field to start with. They create items for disambiguation pages that do not exist. They remove valid English and Japanese aliases from items for no discernible reason. They always return to the same items such as Hayami (Q90037738) with no indication that they have ever been reverted or blocked for those same edits. They're always moving commons categories and links around. And finally they never communicate in any language, or acknowledge that they have been reverted or blocked in the past. This investigation started after a possible case of harassment against a dewiki sysop. Per dewiki CU the connection between Tuschmuschel, Cluas fhada and Plüschhai is confirmed. Evidence suggests that the accounts, although geographically separate, were used by the same person. Specifically, there might be the possibility to prove a connection between Xocolatl and Established 1620. For the sake of completeness, I have listed all accounts, including those that have not edited their profiles here for more than 90 days. NDG (talk) 08:36, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
