Fact check: Dallas has experienced 49 fewer murders in 2025 compared to this point in 2024 - putting us at 6.29 murders per 100,000 residents. Lower than LA’s 6.95!

Since May, Operation Justice Trail resulted in 197 violent felons captured, with more than 1,300 prior arrests. If you’re wanted anywhere in the US, turn yourself in before we find you. Crime Stoppers will pay $1,000 for tips that lead to the arrest of certain felony fugitives.

These officers from Tarragona, Spain, are in the US visiting police departments, and I was excited to welcome them to @DallasPD. They visited the Mounted and K9 units and rode out with patrol officers and the Fugitive Unit.
