Rest well! @PnBRock He moved to L.A. to chill and get away from his environment, and to enjoy and pursue his Music Career. When I met him at a “Stop the Violence Rally” at Audenreid H.S. he was a very respectful young man. Sad loss for our City. #peacenotguns 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🕊🕊🕊

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my Chief of Staff Christopher Sample. Christopher served as my Chief of staff for the full 10 years I have served in City Council before retiring in late 2022. 1/

January 2, 2024, will go down as one of the most amazing days of my life. I had the honor of becoming @phlcouncil President and becoming the second-most powerful city official. It was a unanimous election by my colleagues. 1/ Credit: @PhillyInquirer

The Black Doctors “vax-a-thon” will target people who qualify for the vaccine in the city’s Phase 1B or who are over 75 years old. Individuals must reside in the city ZIP codes that have been identified by the consortium as having the highest incidence of COVID-19 and deaths. 2/

Long time Philadelphia community activist and civic leader Bennie Swans passed this week. He was a giant and legend fighting gang violence in Philadelphia and saving the youth. He was dedicated, committed, and passionate in creating opportunities for our youth and safe streets.
