- I watched my brother’s addictions take a brutal toll on my Dad. It aged him physically and spiritually. The idea that Joe Biden’s text of encouragement to his (obviously messed up) son is somehow damning or embarrassing really disgusts me.
- It should basically be impossible for Officer Goodman to pay for a beer or meal for the rest of his life. He should just have an open tab wherever he goes.
- BTW, just a reminder that the Trump we're seeing right now is perfectly consistent with the Trump some of us saw all along. Let's not pretend otherwise.

- Rejecting a remote debate, Eric Trump said on @ThisWeekABC that debating your opponent, face to face, is how we've handled presidential debates for the last 200 years. FWIW The first presidential debate was in 1960. The third Nixon Kennedy debate, also 1960, was done remotely.
- Friend: "Biden did the same thing they're accusing Trump of doing." Me: "He really didn't, but ok let's say he did. Is what Biden did okay?" F: "No! It's outrageous!" Me: "And if Trump is guilty of doing the same thing is that outrageous?" F: "...."
- I think there would be no more fitting end to Kevin McCarthy’s dream of becoming speaker than the “scandal” of him being exposed as privately believing the right and moral thing.
- Mike Pence could completely overturn and improve his place in history if he offered to testify and came out in favor of conviction. I mean he's not going to be president anyway. Might as well fight back. Of course, this will not happen.
- The attempt to make the Eagles event cancellation about the national anthem is just a complete act of deceitful propaganda and conservatives should have zero to do with it. If that was the issue, why schedule the event in the first place? Also: None of them kneeled. Shameful.
- Imagine how many people would starve if grocery workers had the same clout -- and attitude -- as teachers unions.
