- Thursday will be an unusually windy day by June standards. Be sure to secure any loose outdoor items such as patio furniture.
- An isolated severe thunderstorm is possible in southern NJ and the Delmarva tonight.
- Lows displayed are for the more urban locales... more rural areas will be cooler. For example, both airports near Allentown PA and Toms River NJ could drop into the upper 40s tonight.
- Rainfall forecasts are one of our harder tasks, esp. in summer when convection (t-storms) drive the process on the "mesoscale" (areas smaller than storm systems). Last night showed this; a wide swath of N DE and SE PA saw several inches, but little to none fell in C DE.
- Flash Flood Warning including New Brunswick NJ, Perth Amboy NJ and Sayreville NJ until 3:45 AM EDT
