Taking The Loong Way Round

Okay, so, I used this style of drawer pull on my cutting board because it's the only one I could find that could be attached from the front, which is necessary for a cutting board, but am I therefore aesthetically committed to using the same pulls on all the drawers (planning to paint/restain the cabinets/drawer-fronts), or would it look okay to use different ones on the drawers because obviously you need a different means of attachment for a cutting board than for drawers?

Made slight change to blog subtitle. You'd think I'd want to change the awkwardly bold first half of it, but not getting the sense I should do that. However the pseudo-Lemony Snickett thing, however theoretically cool, just didn't seem like the right feel for this project.
