The Zoroastrian Association of North Texas (ZANT), established in 1989, is dedicated to fostering the religious, cultural, and social life of Zoroastrians in the DallasâFort Worth area. Our vibrant and growing community includes both longtime residents and new families, united by a shared heritage and a strong sense of belonging.
About Zoroastrianism
Zoroastrianism is one of the worldâs oldest known religions, founded by the Prophet Zarathustra (Zoroaster) over 3,000 years ago in ancient Persia. Centered on the worship of Ahura Mazda, the Wise Lord, Zoroastrianism teaches a path of truth, righteousness, and personal responsibility. Its core principlesâGood Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deedsâhave inspired generations to live ethically and in harmony with creation. Though small in numbers today, Zoroastrians continue to sustain a rich spiritual and cultural legacy across the globe.
ZANT & FEZANA + ZYNA
ZANT is a proud and active member of the Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America (FEZANA), the umbrella organization that connects Zoroastrian communities across the United States and Canada. Since its founding in 1987, FEZANA has advanced the understanding and practice of the Zoroastrian faith, supported cultural continuity, and encouraged youth leadership and global service.
ZANT also supports the work of the Zoroastrian Youth of North America (ZYNA), FEZANAâs youth arm focused on cultivating leadership, community, and connection among young Zoroastrians. Through our involvement with FEZANA and ZYNA, ZANT helps strengthen bonds within our faith community and contribute to a vibrant, united Zoroastrian future.
